Nick Cave

Nick cave is back with a new album..what a strong track..As Blixa Bargeld says: black is the colour of my voice--to drain all the black of the world. What colour is Nick´s?.

In resistance we dance and sing... a fabulous list...dance on!

No I guess, I do not believe......

Someone stopped me on the street today.. because I walk very badly at the time..she was a newborn
Christian..and asked me if she could pray for me..I said no thank you..my religion is lost,
but that does not mean that we cannot hear this classic..Satan takes many forms..or?..Maybe even the form of a rheumatism. And if he exists he probably does not mind, if I do not believe in him.

By the way this is a playlist--lots of good stuff...swing on! Pray on if it makes you feel good.

What do I do when bent down by my rheumatism, if not pray..this is one of them...I listen to music;-)

Teho´s art - Blixa´s art - a German/Italian cooperation - and smiles through the pain

Two to try:

Italian artist Teho Teardo and German artist Blixa Bargeld

Probably not for every hard rocker amongst you. It is poetic and a bit slow music.
Music for contemplation...music for dreaming. Music for silent revolutions.
I recommend the works of Teho and Blixa Bargeld together as well..Blixa is the leadsinger
of the German band Einstürzende Neubauten, who has been a big part of the alternative music scene
for three decades.

Buy their albums if you like them..art is expensive to make.(smile)

By the way..I fight rheumatism..I am not depressed:-), but life is not always easy.
We grow through our pains..never did smiling feel as good as after a serious period in one´s life.

Still smiling.

still there?

still there.

I re-count the black days
recollect some circumstances
even though it takes my sleep
I recall the black days
the mismatches and the end of some affairs
I recall the black days
between zenith and nadir
is there a pattern anywhere?
I recall the black days
the blackest one it’s not the last one but it’s there

and somewhere down there
I’m smiling
still smiling
I’m smiling
from the bottom of my shapeless soul
I’m smiling
anyway

I recount the black days
wade through all the shadows
even so it takes my sleep
I recall the black days
the cuts and the recovery
from unnecessary growth
I recall the black days
as maybe grim and melanized
but also colourful

and somewhere down there
I’m smiling
still smiling
I’m smiling
from the bottom of my fairtrade soul
I’m smiling …

still there?

Ps. Sorry for the text marking.

Doubt

If there was enough doubt in the world it would suspend all forces.
There is never enough doubt!

The parlour guitar

Out of sheer joy in living...no, this is not me, but I have fallen in love with a parlour guitar.
And it hurts..like love is supposed to (smiles).
I have borrowed Andreas Brink to show you how it is supposed to sound...It doesn´t here:-)
Stiff hands and a sore back makes a slow learner, but it makes me smile:-)
Thank you for the melody, Andreas:-)

Still smiling

Many small movements with a training ball...many small steps..less red in the skin...less sore.....and still smiling. I hope to bring you new art soon...

My heart is in the highlands.

My heart is in the highlands

Music has almost meant a lot to me. And I often listen while working with my art.

This piece of music has a "slowness" a dwelling in the moment.
And the story of the heart that leaves on it´s own
chasing the wild deer of the highlands..It is almost dreamlike. A stunning description of the mental
capacity of human beings that goes far beyond the computerized age, that we live in. Shelter your soul..
It is worth it.

Leonard forever

Thank god that Leonard has this talent for describing melancholic beauty...in a world where an eternal smile is almost a sign of status.
I started early with leonard. My father introduced me to the album "Various Positions"..Together in the Danish winter evenings we listened and talked about the words..... And Leonard has stuck with me since..
