"Rain"

This is one of my recent paintings...I find architecture interesting....You probably already noticed:-)

Buildings are sculptures in my world..large and out in every kinds of weather. I enjoy when the sun comes out after a heavy shower of rain..everything wet and glistening...Air crisp and clean. In Denmark buildings can be in bright colours but also so red because of the red bricks we often use here... 

And this is one of my oilpaintings ...It was a mess to make this one..but well worth it.......

Made today at our show at Filosoffen in Odense...It was very hot, and I was getting sleepy in the breaks between visitors..so what to do with the sleepy artist...besides drinking Earl Grey...I took out my sketchbook..this one is the result...
