Your watercolor reminds me of dreams where I can't quite find my way back to home. There is something sad and yet beautiful in the imagery and feeling of the work.
Nice to hear from you ..and thank you for the roses. (smile) Yes I sometimes work with longing and melancholy. I have always been fascinated by the human capacity for contemplation. Contemplation quite often is a result of hardship...we are forced to stop, to stand still for a while.. and the result is sometimes personal enlightment. If we are courageous enough that is. It takes courage to be human.
Excellent watercolour, I really like it.
ReplyDeleteThis could be a cover art for the New Yorker Magazine.
Thanks Line.
